Magellan¶
Magellan is a full client for Eressea.
You can use it to display your map, search, give orders, and all you have to do is leave the program to write emails to your allies.
Almost. Magellan undergoes sporadic development, mainly when there are changes to the server.
Features include :
- Display map, units, region details, and all other report properties. The arrangement of the different windows can be freely adjusted
- Comprehensive orders editor with autocompletion and syntax check
- Extensive prediction functions, for example for the handover of items and routes
- Extensive checking of orders and display of "open issues". Eliminates the need for additional tools such as ECheck
- Sending orders via email directly from the program
- Import and export of (partial) reports and maps for exchange with other players
- Fast navigation using keyboard shortcuts, search for units, bookmarks...
- Faction statistics with display of all items, skills, income etc
- Alchemy planner for an overview of herbs and potions
- Extensive setting options to adapt Magellan to your own preferences
- Ability to color and label maps according to freely defined criteria, for example to get an overview of trade goods distribution, farmer growth, raw material distribution or other factions
- Extended Commands programming interface to automate the orders as desired
- Plugins that can expand the possibilities even more

Magellan offers the option of sending orders directly from the program.
What needs to be done, depending on the provider, is explained in Sending orders from Magellan.
An older version of Magellan (Magellan 1) is no longer being developed further.
Although it has reached a stable state, newer developments of the Eressea server are not taken into account there.
